You can enjoy The Remarkables experience from 16 June 2012 when the ski area is due to open.
The base building provides all facilities and is the ideal location for overseeing children on nearby learners’ slopes while enjoying refreshments on the sun deck.
Fun for the kids starts at the fully licensed Skiwiland Early Learning Centre, progressing to programmes for all ages and abilities from three months to 15 years. There are three terrain parks ranging from beginner to advanced, and a tubing park for fun without skis or board.
NZSki Snowline provides return trips to The Remarkables every day of the season (weather and conditions permitting) during hours of operation, giving you a comfortable and safe alternative for getting to the snow. No need to bother with chains or road conditions, instead you can sit back and rest up in preparation for your active day ahead and enjoy the incredible views. The Snowline Express offers a daily schedules service from the Snow Centre in Queenstown to The Remarkables every 20 minutes from 8am until 11:30am. It can also collect you on a space available basis at designated stops along the route. Return buses fill from 1:30pm back to Queenstown. One day return journey: $15 per person. (multiride prices available). Alternatively guarantee your seat on the Snowline Hotel Pick-up service. Seats must be prebooked by calling the Snow Centre 03 450 1970 and will pick up from all major hotels along the route to the Remarkables. Adult one day return: $30; Youth (17 & under) one day return: $20.

The Snowsports School's emphasis is on fun learning with products to suit everyone of all ages and all abilities. Whether you’re new to skiing or snowboarding or an expert looking to work on improving your technique, you can get the tips, pointers and skills to progress to the next level in a fun and safe environment either in a group or a private lesson.
Why lug that gear around if you don’t have to? Everything you need is right here on the mountain. The Remarkables rental department hire the latest gear, from clothing to equipment, and our on-site technicians keep it in top condition. We have the revolutionary Head BYS ski fitting system at The Remarkables, designed to reduce the amount of time taken to fit boots and skis allowing you maximum time on the slopes. Carving skis make up the majority of the recreational range and snowboards come with freestyle strap-in bindings.
For 2012 The Remarkables also has a large range of brand new performance equipment. This is top end product from the most respected brands that has been matched to individual mountain terrain and conditions by our equipment experts. Try the latest skis from Head, Atomic, Volkl, Salomon, K2 and Dynastar.
If you want to swap, exchange, upgrade or if you find something's not quite right, The Remarkables equipment experts will take care of it on the spot. Free overnight storage is available when you rent NZSki equipment. If you're staying in Queenstown we also offer the added flexibility of returning your rental equipment to Coronet Peak, The Remarkables or the Queenstown Snow Centre, irrespective of where you picked it up.
Have fun on the slopes at Ozone Tubing Park! It is a great way to enjoy time on the slopes with the whole family or to enjoy the slopes not skiing or snowboarding. Experience the thrills and turns as you shoot down the tubing lanes.
