Window Slams Shut on Indian Summer at Treble Cone
Posted on 28 May 2010 at 01:57 PM
The end of a long Indian summer has come with an almighty bang and everything has happened at once! It's great really – everyone is suddenly in winter mode.
Exciting day up at Treble Cone on Thursday 28 May with another 5cm of light dry snow overnight on the 30cm in the Saddle and the 25cm at the top of the six seater. We have snowmakers crawling all over the mountain getting the guns up and running, taking advantage of the freezing conditions.
Currently at the base building we have moderate southerly wind sweeping another dose of light flurries across Home Basin. Everyone in full swing at getting Treble Cone into winter mode!!
