Peak to Peak - Queenstown

Individuals and teams of two to five people race by ski/snowboard, mountain bike, kayak, foot and road bike from the top of the Remarkables Ski Area to Coronet Peak. Click here for tickets.

Parklife Mini Shred at The Remarkables - Queenstown

The crew at Parklife we have developed their own slopestyle series for all you young jibbers. It’s the Parklife Mini Shred and is for those aged 16 years and under.  Based in the Mini Terrain Park at The Remarks, there are great prizes up for grabs and with free entry you won't have to hassle mum for the cash to enter. Helmets are compulsory, $20 refundable bib deposit. Click here for more information.

Export 33 Parklife Invitational in Earnslaw Park, Queenstown

30 skiers and riders will rock Earnslaw Park (downtown Queenstown) where audiences can expect to see some outrageous moves on display on the purpose built stair feature. In its 8th year, this popular event staged by The Remarkables is a night not to be missed. Click here for more details.

Burton New Zealand Open - Wanaka

The Burton New Zealand Open returns to the slopes of Cardrona between Queenstown and Lake Wanaka bringing with it five days of world-class snowboarding action featuring some of the sport’s most high profile athletes.  Click here for more details.

ASAP Ski Achievement Programme – Treble Cone – Wanaka

Designed for both men and women skiing from intermediate right through to advanced.  Treble Cone’s qualified professional coaches will heip you get to that elusive next level in your skiing, bit it moguls, powder, off-piste, or modern ski racing techniques. Click here for more details.

Week long courses, each of the weeks starting 19th July, 2nd August, 9th August, 23rd August, 30 August, 13th September.

 

Merino Muster - Wanaka

Cross country ski race. The race is usually held in August, but is always timed to complement the Kangaroo Hoppet, one of the World Loppet races. 

Competitors have an opportunity to complete two International citizen races and include New Zealand on their air ticket at little extra cost.  Click here for more details.

2010 FIS World Championship Snowboard & Freestyle - Wanaka

Snow Park will host the slopestyle competitions for both skiers and snowboarders; Treble Cone is set to host the snowboard parallel giant slalom and snowboard parallel slalom; Cardrona will stage the ski and snowboard halfpipe, ski- and snowboard-cross and snowboard big air competitions.

Ladies Ski Weeks – Treble Cone – Wanaka

Designed by women, for women.   Ladies’ Week is the ultimate programme for those who want to move to the next level.  In small groups, to ensure personalised attention, the Treble Cone female instructors will serve as coach, guide and friend. Click here for more details.

80’s Day at Roundhill
The legendary Roundhill 80's day - Crack out the lycra pants, fluro sweatshirts, leg warmers and blue eyeshadow, the more tragically 80's the outfit the better.  Watch (or participate in!) the hilarious water jump and enjoy the entertainment that is 80's day.
