Parklife Mini Shred at The Remarkables - Queenstown

The crew at Parklife we have developed their own slopestyle series for all you young jibbers. It’s the Parklife Mini Shred and is for those aged 16 years and under.  Based in the Mini Terrain Park at The Remarks, there are great prizes up for grabs and with free entry you won't have to hassle mum for the cash to enter. Slopestyle Series at The Remarkables - Queenstown

SRNZ National Ski Champs at Coronet Peak - Queenstown

Burton New Zealand Open - Wanaka

The Burton New Zealand Open returns to the slopes of Cardrona between Queenstown and Lake Wanaka bringing with it five days of world-class snowboarding action featuring some of the sport’s most high profile athletes.  More details on Burton New Zealand Open in Wanaka.

ASAP Ski Achievement Programme – Treble Cone – Wanaka

Designed for both men and women skiing from intermediate right through to advanced.  Treble Cone’s qualified professional coaches will heip you get to that elusive next level in your skiing, bit it moguls, powder, off-piste, or modern ski racing techniques. Week long courses, each of the weeks starting 19th July, 2nd August, 9th August, 23rd August, 30 August, 13th September.

 

Merino Muster - Wanaka

Cross country ski race. The race is usually held in August, but is always timed to complement the Kangaroo Hoppet, one of the World Loppet races. 

Competitors have an opportunity to complete two International citizen races and include New Zealand on their air ticket at little extra cost.  More details on Merino Muster in Wanaka.

2010 FIS World Championship Snowboard & Freestyle - Wanaka

Snow Park will host the slopestyle competitions for both skiers and snowboarders; Treble Cone is set to host the snowboard parallel giant slalom and snowboard parallel slalom; Cardrona will stage the ski and snowboard halfpipe, ski- and snowboard-cross and snowboard big air competitions.

Ladies Ski Weeks – Treble Cone – Wanaka

Designed by women, for women.   Ladies’ Week is the ultimate programme for those who want to move to the next level.  In small groups, to ensure personalised attention, the Treble Cone female instructors will serve as coach, guide and friend. More details on Ladies Ski Weeks at Treble Cone.

University Snow Games Gravity Cross

Gravity-cross (Ski-cross and Snowboard-cross)
Cardrona is hosting the Ski-cross and Snowboard-cross disciplines for the Uni Snow Games.  With over 100 competitors this event will provide an exciting day of racing. Entry is limited to university students.

Cardrona Ski Masters

All ski racers over the age of 30 may compete.  Masters racing is exciting and great to watch or participate in.  The Masters Ski race includes a cocktail party and banquet. Social and elite level Male & Female skiers. For more information click here.

Methven Big Air

See the heart of Methven come alive in an incredible display by top skiers and riders from around New Zealand. Watch the best get some huge air and perform breath-taking stunts, it's an evening of live bands, fireworks and good times.  More details on Methven Big Air.

Peak to Pub: Mt Hutt Ski Area to Methven

Ohau SnowBall - Lake Ohau Lodge

Hot Dog Day - Lake Ohau

Hot diggity dog, it’s "HOT DOG DAY" at Ohau! Celebrate the end of the season retro-style – pull on the fluoro one piece suit, drag out those skinny skis or first snowboard and ride just like you did in the good ‘ol days.
