Cardrona is an easy 45mins drive from Queenstown Airport or a 35 min drive from Wanaka.
Huge Terrain for Skiing and Snowboarding
Cardrona is the largest Ski Area in the Queenstown region and the second largest in the Southern Lakes. We’re installing a new lift for 2010 which takes are our total number of chairlifts to four – this is the most in the South Island! With so much terrain on offer you’ll be spoilt for choice!
Cardrona Parks NZ
Cardrona has the most extensive Terrain Park & Half Pipe facilities in the Southern Hemisphere. 3 Terrain Parks, a Gravity Cross & up to 3 Half Pipe’s including a 22 ft Olympic Superpipe.
Family Friendly Ski Resort
At Cardrona we’ve been looking after little snow lovers for decades. We have 4 Kids Center’s; the Cardrona Nursery & Ski Kindy for those aged 3 months – 4 years and the Archway Westside & Eastside for 5 – 14year olds. Cardrona is a place where kids LOVE to be abandoned by their parents! Or ski as a family and explore the purpose built Family Fun Zone!

Cardrona is a place where people just keep coming back! Why… well our crazy colourful base area makes a trip to Cardrona especially memorable & our team of knowledgeable staff are on hand to make things EASY. But most of all our slopes make a day on the snow FUN! 75% Beginner & Intermediate terrain spread over wide open bowls, 25% for advanced in challenging chutes and drop offs and Terrain Parks & Halfpipes for the freestylers!
