International Airports in New Zealand

New Zealand's Christchurch International Airport and Queenstown Airport offer convenient services from Australia for your ski holiday. Both airports are located close to the main ski regions of Canterbury, Wanaka and Queenstown.

Christchurch International Airport

Most international visitors enter the South Island through Christchurch due to the frequency and value of flights. The airport is approximately 15 minutes drive west of the central city and 90 minutes drive from the nearest ski fields.

Queenstown INTERNATIONAL Airport

Queenstown airport boasts one of the most scenic landing strips in the world. The airport is located in Frankton, approximately 10kms from central Queenstown. The airport provides many facilities for passengers and airport visitors, including an internet lounge and Wi-Fi, retail shops, food and beverage providers, currency exchange and ATMs, bag storage and key drop.
