New Zealand Ski & Snowboard
Welcome to your gateway for New Zealand’s premier ski resorts and ski regions so you can gather early information for your 2012 winter ski holiday to New Zealand.
Season 2012
The ski areas of South Island are already well advanced with their plans for this season. The South Island ski areas are revered for their long season and awesome snow. Typically the South Island ski areas are the first in Australasia to open.
This year is no exception with both Mt Hutt and Coronet Peak aiming to be open from 9th June 2012. All other ski resorts are planning on opening during June.
It is often not until early October (or sometimes the end of September) before the ski areas close. In 2011 Mt Hutt didn't close until 16th October! Why not plan your ski and snowboard holiday in September?
